With the current state of medical science, osteoarthritis cannot be cured or completely stopped. The contemporary therapies focus mainly on the use of blood replacement products (PRP, IRAP), non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), or introduce dietary and rehabilitation strategies. In extreme cases, palliative surgical techniques are also employed.

It needs, however, to be stressed that in four-legged patients, a large number of therapy-resistant cases are present, and negative side-effects of medical procedures commonly occur. With this in mind, the veterinary community watches studies over new OA treatment methods with hope, among them the method involving the use of mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) in the treatment of this disorder.

Laboratory studies have shown that the use of MSC in the treatment of osteoarthritis results in marked reduction of inflammation, which leads to evident alleviation of pain and contributes to natural processes of reconstruction of the damaged joint tissues… AND HERE STEM4CELLS COMPANY COMES with its innovative method of cells production, preservation method for cells’ longevity and application maneuvers.
